This morning I received very good news. The results from the bone marrow biopsy and my PET and CT scans that were performed last week showed no trace of the Hodge. I am officially in remission. Chemotherapy is over, and I just have to check in with my oncologist every three months for the next two years. The Hodge has been banished, I will not miss him, and I pray he never returns.

Sunday, August 14, 2011. June was his birthday so he finally had a day all about him. This year he seemed to enjoy the attention a little more. He was still a bit reserved and as you can tell from the pictures, very serious. But he had a good time and even opened a few gifts while others watched. On his actual birthday we opened a few gifts and had cake.

This is our life. . . Monday, March 28, 2011. Yesterday was my 3 month B-day. To celebrate, my brother put one of his new Transformer Band-Aids on me when my Mom wasnt watching. It hurt when she took it off. Happy 3 months to me. In defense of my brother, I did scratch my head with my nail and he thought a band-aid would make it better. Thoughtful, but OUCH!
