For many people, the word jewellery conjures up images of gold, diamonds and mass produced bling. This adorned baggage has led me to explore alternative visual and contextual communication surrounding wearable objects that do not fit the traditional jewellery mold. I create silicone jewels that encourage play and interaction between the wearer and the observer. They offer new possibilities for adorning and viewing jewellery, creating temporal art experiences for random audiences. Monday, October 18, 2010.
