Thursday, January 5, 2012. Today my darling baby boy is 2 years old! Celebrating him and looking at old pictures leads me to reflect on the day Samuel was born and the following 6 days he spent in the NICU. Was it something about the c-section? Was it something inside his little body? Eventually I did get to hold my boy. Here his nurse is showing me his face right before I got to have him in my arms for the first time! And as you may imagine, tears flowed freely that day. And today will celebrate his sec.
Thursday, October 10, 2013. Somehow we got a dog. I honestly had no intention of coming home with a dog. Renee and I managed to drag Philip along with us. Well, it only took about 5 minutes with him in the petting room before we realized we wanted to take him home right then and there! Philip was actually the one that suggested it first!
