We loved these children from the start and wanted nothing less than Gods best for them. These children helped us to see what is really important in this life. We put much prayer into this decision! Tonight I was prompted to blog because I was reminded of how far we have come and how hard it was to get here. Our friends, Jim Bob and Mandy Shawley, are adopting sisters from the same orphanage.
Our life is CRAZY! However, along came Ana and she stole all of our hearts! Within the first moments of meeting her, we knew this was something different. But what? It took many discussions, tears and prayers to get where we are today. But we are so excited to be taking this journey and can not wait to get Ana home! This is our adoption story. Saturday, April 30, 2011. April has been a busy month, and it has just flown by! Vikas birthday was on the 2nd and she had a bowling birthday party with a lot of family and friends. We do not think she has ever had a birthday party before and we wanted to make this one special. In the middle of the month, Michelle and Paul Polotza took Vika, Anslee, Vika Love, Leana, and Marybeth Raabe to Revolve in Reading Pa. This is a christian retreat for teenage girls. They loved it!
