Saturday, September 17, 2011. And I am pleased with how the chapters have developed. I will certainly not complete the dissertation in time to finish in 2011. BUT, definitely in 2012! By January I will know if I can finish in time to graduate during spring semester. The major ice storm in January.

Monday, December 13, 2010. We Have an Elf On Our Shelf. My kids love this book and they LOVE their elf. He Travels to the North Pole each night to tell Santa how well the kids behaved that day. Herman comes back each morning and hides in a different spot and the kids get to find him! We have our own little tradition with the book. We all give Herman a kiss the first time we set him out to wake him up! I am here today to say that Santa IS real! Wednesday, December 8, 2010.

Those of you who have kids, or work with kids, or just know kids, know that they all come with their own little personalities and tendencies. Its a funny thing to observe your own children and see that just because you all share DNA, the individuals in your family tend to be, well, individuals. I guess it is inevitable that one out of four would inherit my coordination and tendency to attract acciden.
