Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Using Writing Prompts in My Classroom. I am able to really address their writing needs and keep them actively engaged during our 60-minute block each day, so while it may look different, it has been a great fit for my teaching style. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Word Work, the beginning. Hi friends, I am a Daily 5. Yes, it is true. I am now in my 5th year using this management piece in my room. Of course in the beginning of the year, it is hard to imagine they will become independent but now I know it can happen. I wrote a post last year on the first 5 days of the Daily 5. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Not only has the summer flown by, but this whole year has. I am always anxious to get back come August. I have a serious Michael. I have been finishing some smaller products on my TPT to-do list, but it is time to start jumping into the big things! Last year, I was able to get into my classroom.
