Thursday, March 31, 2011. While flipping through a stack of finished school work Jake had brought home I came across this. Dodd and I had a good laugh and then we taught our first grader how to spell pennies. The weekend we were to go was warm and there was no snow. So we decided to postpone the trip for a few weeks and hope for snow. Well it worked and we got lots of it. The kids had a blast. The kids with cousins Milana and Natalia.

Sunday, May 20, 2012. X and I just got back from a weekend get-away up in Reno for our 3rd anniversary. And it actually ended up working out perfectly with a work-sponsored event as well. We had lunch at an Indian buffet. Sadly it seems like nothing can compare to our fav.

Sunday, March 30, 2014. Day one we drove up the beautiful Columbia river gorge. A rock hit the bridge recently, so it was closed off. Sad to see! We stopped at the Bonneville Dam fish hatchery and the kids had fun feeding the fish. The kids did awesome with the hike! Friday .
