Friday, April 20, 2012. In February, I had the opportunity to travel to Phoenix to go to a Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert. They were invited by our governor, Jan Brewer, to help celebrate the centennial of Arizona becoming a state. This was not a normal tour year for the choir, so they made a special trip just for us.
Saturday, May 24, 2014. I experienced the most pain and the most joy. I became a mother to a perfect little boy. I began to learn patience with lack of sleep. I started the best job I could ever ask for. Luke was born one year ago today. Crawls and walks with a walker.

Wednesday, September 26, 2012. A visit from Naomi and Isaiah. What a wonderful time we had this past weekend with Naomi and Isaiah here in town. Everything seemed so peaceful and right with the world having family around. So the three days she was here was busy tring to see as many as she could of friends and family. Needless to say the time was to short, but very well appreciated.

Wednesday, April 7, 2010. For all who suffer from a compulsion to travel, there is a thrill from a name that seems as far-fetched and faraway as Zanzibar. Stone Town is the main hub of Zanzibar and we spent some time wandering it aimlessly. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to how the city is laid out so you get lost almost immediately.
