Under African Skies

Friday, June 3, 2011. Thanks to Philipo, we were able to catch a ride with one of his friends back to Moshi and avoided taking the cramped bus with no shocks back home. We said our final goodbyes to Rachel whos eyelids were only half open still and was wearing nothing but a toga made from her sheet. It was easier to say goodbye knowing that we would see her again this summer. The remainder of the week was spent in bed, watching movies and working out issues with coordinators and worried parents back home.

JustUsFriends A Journey of Global Caring

Well we just returned from another wonderful trip to Africa. As usual, there never seems to be enough time to get it all done! But am grateful that I am able to travel that far at least twice a year. We visited many more and could go on and on about each one, however, we found all to be extremely in good spirits, with happy boys and girls. They especially liked the candy we brought with us. We hope to begin construction in about a month.

I have a lot of ideas which I rarely follow through, and because of this I have a lot of half-started, half-finished projects floating about. This page is a light-hearted attempt to bring them all together, into a kind of central base from which to work.
