Sunday, April 25, 2010. The next day we split into groups my group went in a boat to another smaller island where we snorkeled with the sea lions. On the last day on the way to the airport we stopped at a sink hole that was lava tunnels the had collapsed and that just about raps up my Galapagos adventure.

Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Mom had her last kickball game tonight, so I decided I should go along to cheer her on. I must be the best cheerleader.

When I was just a kid, I was introduced to music by my father. He loved Big Bands and Dixieland. I remember listening to Les Elgart and Tommy Dorsey on the old. He told me he had been a singer and stand up bass player for a number of bands during his years in high school and college. I thought that was pretty cool. I joined the choir at the church we attended.
