Saturday, January 29, 2011. Since I did not get a Christmas card out this year I thought I would post some of the highlights of our year. We were very blessed this last year. We made a lot of good memories and look forward to the memories that we will make this year. We found the zoo in Columbia, SC to be full of adventures! Grace feeding a ggiraffe. Every time the giraffe licked her hand the kids would roll with laughter! The birds were fun too! Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Cogbills is always fun.
Sunday, January 8, 2012. Behold, the swollen, over-ripe state of a woman so ready to get this baby out that she will do anything, even allow her husband to take pictures of her looking like this. I was going to take before and after photos of my belly, but I think what would be more impressive is a before and after photo of my nose.

This morning I ran 19 miles! I am so excited about it. After a terrible run last week where my knee was hurting and I had to stop at 10. 5 miles, I was extremely excited that I finished today. My two running partners were out of town so I asked Ezra if he would ride his bike along with me. He was a trooper and made it about 4 miles. It was so fun to chat with him. While I often talk and teach about loving God and living out that love through obedience to Him, I rarely think about experiencing His love. Sad how little I do that.
