Wednesday, May 22, 2013. At the beginning of the year I made a rather vague reference to wanting to create a book of short stories, poems, and wonders told through photos. And was fascinated to find out how much meaning could be packed into a small poem. Even the seemingly obvious ones had a few secrets.

He sputtered and his face turned a deeper shade of red. His frustration grew as the one he now deemed to be an adversary remained calm throughout his on-going tirade, causing him to continue his verbal abuse of personal insults and nasty innuendos. His rant came to an end when a hand abruptly closed around his neck. Swallowing became difficult if not impossible.

Sunday, November 1, 2009. The pumpkin carving turned out well. The kids were excited with their pumpkins. We grew these pumpkins so I am pretty sure Brad was proud of them. Well another Halloween is over. We had a lot of fun, but we were all tired. Everyone slept well, maybe it was because they were full of candy.

That may sound like an odd way to begin a blog post, but stick with me.
