Borland Lodge is situated at the gateway to Fiordland National Park in southern New Zealand - a World Heritage area. It is just off the Southern Scenic Route, between Lake Manapouri and Lake Monowai, south of Te Anau. One of the attractions to the Borland area is its natural history. Plants and animals, protected by the Fiordland National Park and the access road to Borland saddle.
