Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Grateful for information on a number of questions. I will be travelling Calais - Brittany on saturday 2 Aug and returning on Saturday 16 August. Are these leikely to be mega busy dates or are French holidays more spread outr than they used to be? We want to go around the Louve, and various tourist venues will they be open. Keep in mind Paris a popular destination over Christmas so make your reservations for hotel or apt soon. On this forum, everyone seems very taken with the Marais which is arrondissement 3 or 4. No real recommendations, my extr.
