Friday, January 22, 2010. As I watch the Hope for Haiti telethon, I have to rant. Emergency aid is important but be careful who you give to. People all over the world have been donating money to organizations such as Red Cross, World Vision, UNICEF and United Way to assist with aid to the Haitian people. Although I agree that emergency aid is important when an country is struck by a natural disaster, I do have a couple of concerns.

Miller Time

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Well Dan has made it Dubai and boy is it hot. But understand it is just as hot in Houston. Started clearing up, for a week there where sandstorms and the air was full of dust. It has since cleared up a little but they say that it will be this way until October.
