Friday, June 26, 2009. On Fathers Day, there was a 5K race to benefit the NICU at GBMC. Dan, Kathleen, Dans dad and brother were all going to run the 5K. For some reason, the night before, I was feeling left out and decided to runwalk the race. It was a silly idea because I have never run that far nor have I planned to runnings not my thing, but I did it anyway! I did walk a little bit up the hills, but ran most of the way and finished in about 34 min. I felt pretty good afterwards too! Last week,.CONTENT

Friday, May 20, 2011. She actually had her bone marrow transplant on June 26th 2009. In some ways it feels like it never actually happened. But other days it still feels very real. I am soooo happy to report that Avarie is doing AMAZING! She had her check up today and her counts were perfect! Wednesday, September 22, 2010.
