More time to sew! Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Making progress on Old Tobacco Road. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Gypsy Wife plus 2 Spinoffs. It looked like something that would be fun to make.
Have you seen these? They are salty, partially popped corn snacks and they are DELICIOUS! I found them at the bulk bins in California Fresh, but I have seen them at Whole Foods in their bulk bins as well. They look like the popcorn rejects from the movie theater.

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. It is so sad the day has come and I have to stop with my blog. I havent posted for some time and now I have to stop with my swaps. My life has taken a swing to the right then back to the left and Im in the middle of alot of whirl winds. I will hopefully be back on board in the new year with a new life. My swapping buddies I will miss alot as I did enjoy swapping with lots of ladies from all over. BYE BYE FOR NOW AND TATA.
Sunday, February 09, 2014. The theme for my February book page for the Purple Swap of the Fibre Fever group was. My inspiration was Steampunk artist, Mike Savad. Thank you, Mike! I began by creating a patchwork block with a variety of batiks that I believed would. Compliment the brass and gold of the gears and keys that I purchased on Amazon. Then I got out my Paintsticks. Well over 20 years ago, my mother gave me a box of old buttons. The completed block was happily received by Catherine in Australia.

Monday, June 18, 2012. A Place Known as Home. Outside of Smith Center, Ks. overlooking the rolling Kansas wheat fields. Recently, I was able to drive through the town that Jodi, our brother and I grew up in. It is just a little town. but it is the town we knew as HOME. That town is Smith Center, Kansas. My husband grew up about 20 miles from me. I threw this picture in for fun! Andhis hair is now all gray! .
No I have not fallen off the face of the earth, just off blog land. Well, January has been and gone. I spent 2 wonderful weeks up in Qld. 1 week with the kids at those horrible parks and a week of pure bliss staying with my cousin in Brisbane, sent the kids home with friends, lol. Well once I got back I started sewing like a mad woman to get my blocks out for January on time. Hosted by the amazing Cheryll. And popped that in the post.
