Friday, March 18, 2011. I know of this family through the adoption world and I used to find their family facinating. I was so captivated by their ability to have so much going on and handle it all with such grace and true faith. This is a good place to insert the fact that I am a terrible judge of character and my first impressions are almost always wrong.
Tuesday, April 8, 2014. This is Nina about 16 months ago when she was nearing the time where they could take out her breathing tube, after being on life support for weeks, after experiencing heart failure and a lung collapse after open heart surgery to fix a congenital heart defect we were not aware she had until she had been home with us for almost a year and a half. Unfortunately, 6 weeks later, we realized that she was rapidly losing weight and becoming frai.
For Such a Time as This. Friday, July 3, 2009. We are enjoying the first day of our three day weekend. We ran a ton of errands this morning, so now we can get some things done at home and spend the rest of the weekend with family and friends. We are making progress on our paperwork. I think the only thing we have left for our homestudy. Is our medical reports which will be done in the next 10 days or so. We went yesterday to be fingerprinted. There was a LOT of misunderstanding.
