We are the Hird family, a small family farm in the lakes region of New Hampshire. We produce wool fleeces, batts, and roving from our flock of Romney, Romney-Horned Dorset cross, and Merino sheep. We are often asked about the history of our iconic barn. The barn is one chapter in a 250 year old story. Ray Conley, whose maternal grandmother was Edna Hill, purchased the property in the mid-1950s.
