Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Getting Jacen to help out with chores has been one of my greatest battles with him as he grows older. I have spent hours researching different methods of encouraging children to do chores and help out around the house, and have had little to no success.

Loaded Questions, Prada, and Queque. Once when walking through a convenience store, I told some friends that I wanted to buy handcuffs and a briefcase so that people would wonder that important thing I was carrying around handcuffed to my wrist.

That evening, we met with our small group from church. This resulted in multiple offers of rides if needed. After church, one of the elders walked us to our car to make sure it started, and to jump start it if need be.
