Friday, August 12, 2011. This blog has sat empty for a number of months. It has been painful for me to even post here. My emotions are running all over the spectrum lately when it comes to midwifery. This is what motivates me and moves me. And yet, I am starting to think that I am going to have to give it up. What is the point in making my life into what I want it to be, if there is nothing to work toward? Not trying to be a bummer here. Just trying to face the facts.
If only you could grasp the depths of MY love for you, MY intimate care of every detail of your life. If only you could suffocate the shouts of worldliness for MY gentle, calm voice, you would hear all that you need. You would truly be living as I have created you, as I have planned for you. Your focus would be completely on ME. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. You have searched me, Lord. You perceive my thoughts from afar.
