Islay Birds

This blog was started on the 1st of May 2007 and aims to provide information about the birds of Islay. Thursday, 29 March 2018. Today Bob had seen 2 different pairs of Hen Harriers. While out round the Rhinns, great to watch. Here at home, we have been watching some of the local Choughs. Who have been regularly been seen out in the garden probing around in the newly worked ground. Margaret saw a pair of Linnets. He saw a ringtail Hen. Just after he left Feolin and then a Golden Eagle.
