Well I think I am going to give this blog writing another bash. This bird was causing a bit of a stir and turning a few heads a moulty white headed Ruff but it stood out from the rest. The Black-tailed Godwits were also in heavy moult but this one was quite presentable.

Saturday, 16 December 2017. IOC keeps Mealy on the Redpoll list, so this bird was nice and timely - at Low Lights, in low light. Sunday, 5 November 2017. Sunny conditions this morning, but much more difficult viewing - until one appeared above us on the path side. Light was tricky, but Ill take it. Friday, 3 November 2017.
