Pink Footed Goose having a Stretch. The pink footed goose that has moved onto the Balderton Blue Lake was very obliging yesterday when it came to a photo opportunity. It grazed off the grass with its two companion geese, a canada and the greylag it has been inseparable from since it arrived. Monday, 19 March 2018. Finding the beauty along the way. Then we noticed an old nest a couple of trees down. A fuzzy, wuzzy little owlet! Great Horned.
Looking for eagles and owls. I found the owls in the same spot they were last year. The park is not too far from work so I stopped by one night before dark. Found one of the adults on a branch just above the nest. Ibis flying by right before dark. I found a lone robin near the owl nest.

I had a white sink for the past 30 years waiting to be planted and although at one time I planted beautiful red and white Tulips in it, I always wanted it planted with Alpins so this year I managed it and now see what I found one day.
