Our last presentation was a very exciting look at an adult student who is using AT to read the Drivers Ed manual so that he can get his driving license. Kudos to this man who has embraced lifelong learning with a goal in mind. How wonderful to be able to taps into all the technology resources being used with him. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Our last class together - It was a pleasure to work with all of you. Crystal T has a grade 5 student who likes to use the audio books on ITouch, allowing him to work alongside his peers. It was interesting to see how he operated the technology with just one hand.
I was also very intrigued by the presentation regarding the 40 year old male who has created a successful life for himself, despite all of his learning obstacles. It is unfortunate that it took so long to discover the cause of his learning challenges. Hopefully he will be able to reach his full learning potential.
