Sunday, August 19, 2012. The Ride Comes to a Close. I can still hear the cowbells clanging their anthem. My muscles still feel a bit fatigued. The cool Midwest weather is almost as perfect as yesterdays. The Ride is a happy and young memory this evening. But the task of eradicating T1D looms still before us. Ta da the day has come. We woke up at 6 and got ready one last time. The host had a nice breakfast for us and once we were done Nicole and M. Ellen played us a slide show. Around 9 we were finally outside for a route meeting which translated to dance party. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.
