Simply a place for me to come and share my thoughts, dreams, experiences, and possibly let off a wee bit of steam. I was offered and accepted a temporary full-time position at a local middle school. My first week is done already and it flew by. Lots of changes and lots to do! Very excited to start up my own class and get to know my 90 students and co-workers. So far, so good.

Coast to Coast for the FFB! Welcome to our little piece of internet dedicated to our cross-country ride over the summer of 2005. We rode our bikes 4,265 miles to benefit the FFB. Finishing on August 7th 2005, we worked hard to spread awareness about retinal degenerative diseases, and help fund the fight against them. To read about our friend with retinitis pigmentosa.

This was the most exciting day of the entire 7-day event. It was probably the most exciting because it was the last day of what had been a pretty grueling week. I remember it was hot. I remember I was tired. I remember I was on the brink of dehydration. But I was so cold.
