Our travels in Greece for April 2010. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. We thought it would be entertaining to take the ferry to the island of Hydra for a few days, so we set out on planning our excursion. We had the choice of taking the ferry from the Athens port, Piraeus, or driving over to the Peloponnese Peninsula and catching boat there. The town was very busy w.
Monday, August 31, 2009. Over the next few days we continued our day rides into the country. Now we were off to Geneva, with a stop planned half way in Auxerres. The next day we continued on the peage to Geneva . Forgot to fill up the gas.
Thursday, July 30, 2009. Well, our month in Switzerland has flown by and it is time to move on to Brittany, France. We have enjoyed the Swiss countryside and find the roads to be in excellent condition and everything is very clean. We never see papers or trash on the shoulders or in the town. As we have found in farm communities in other countries, the Swiss farms are cros. Monday, July 27, 2009.
Monday, October 18, 2010. The furnishings are clean, comfortable and new, including a big screen tv. The master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has two twins, which can be made into a king on request. Sunday, July 25, 2010. Our stay at Treetop Cabin.

Sunday, September 2, 2012. When we arrived in Eybens, a suburb of Grenoble, we were warmly welcomed by our friends of many years, Jose and Marielle Flatot-LeBohec, and their two sons, Victor and Charles. It was so good to see them again. That night we had salmon for dinner and yummy, dark, dense chocolate cake with rich cream for dessert. More talking, and off to bed. The last morning of the trip arrived and we got packed up and off to the bus stop. Don had planned out the timing for everything so we would miss the commute in the morning and the afternoon. But, when the bus arrived at the stop, the bike rack was full, so we ended up riding our bikes instead. Tourists, weaving back and forth across the walkway, gaping at tower.CONTENT
