Thursday, April 19, 2012. With Doug accepting a new job in Boise, we said a tearful goodbye to our first home. We have so many wonderful memories there and will always cherish the people we made friends with in our ward and neighborhood. The girls reading a book and being so good while we packed up the house. Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Things I Want to Teach My Kids about Modesty. I want to teach my kids that modesty is not about what you wear. In other words, a person who is modest is trying to be like Jesus. How much does that have to do with clothing? Very little. So why do most of our modesty discussions focus on clothing? I have no idea. So I want my kids to understand that modesty means not passing unrighteous judgment.
