In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe. And that bravery is what creates new flowers.

In my previous incarnation as a food blogger, I spent an inordinate amount of time fussing over the perfect dish, both aesthetically and gastronomically. As a result, I am now the proud owner of almost 1,000 images on Wordpress, three Nikon lenses, and a bigger waistline. All of which are growing, slowly but surely, with every post. Obviously, these accomplishments were not formidable enough for me to give up blogging or photography.
