Later on, I had a review with Vicky, who I found out had written a really lovely reference for me, which I was really chuffed about. She also videoed asking me some questions about the placement, like Was anything I had done or learnt useful , What advice would I give someone else doing it, and so on. In the last part of the day, we all watched youtube clips and generally relaxed and had food like strawberry laces and things, which was nice.

Friday, 23 July 2010. Tis Thursday and tis the day to do as much as possible on the project so we can relax tomorrow. Audio network is the place and after Vicky kindly bought it I began to put the two together. Painting a toilet! Thursday, 22 July 2010.

Everyone has been lovely, got along well and it beats school any day. I have learnt so much about photography and Photoshop and video editing and audacity and loads of art and the art world. I finished most of my written work today.

Work experience at the Site Gallery. Friday, 23 July 2010. It was a really relaxed and creative working environment, which was easy to adapt to. Everybody was able to be independent in his or her work but it was very much a community and everybody helped each other out when it was needed. I discovered how to use my time effectively and was surprised how quickly I picked up new skills and adapted to a working environment. I am a lot more open minded about Contemporary Art now, as I have learnt that even i.
