Monday, November 16, 2009. Mexico City based Mexicana becomes the 11th member to join the One World alliance founded by American Airlines, British Airways, Qantas and Cathay Pacific in 1998. One World is one of the three major airline alliances in the world. Other members of One World are Finnair, Iberia, Malev, Japan Airlines, Lan Chile and Royal Jordanian.
