Monday, May 24, 2010. Should I even write? It has been too long. We have finally moved to Las Cruces, NM and have had so many troubles with the sellers and different problems. Aargh! We are enjoying nice weather and the house though, and now just need our house in Minot to sell! We had a lovely time in Utah while in route to NM.

This piece was difficult to say the least. Difficult and rewarding. I must have erased twice as much as I drew, and the matte board was bowed so much that I wanted to toss it out numerous times and start on a new one! But persistence pays off. I discovered again how much I love to create and what a humbling and challenging experience it is.CONTENT

Wednesday, May 22, 2013. May 9th is Victory Day in Russia. There are big celebrations at Lenin Square in the villages. The square at Mglin had food booths and vendors set up. School children walk to the square in their good school clothes and bring flowers. It is a big holiday here. You can see Lenin better now.
