Friday, 10 May 2013. So last time we spoke, I was back in the teaching groove after finishing my BASI Level 3 technical and teaching exams. The season soon wrapped up, with ski teaching work dropping off in Morgins immediately after Easter. Annoyingly, even now, I can see there is snow up the top and the mogul field is still there, looking lonely. May has been a little disappointing so far, in that it has rained more or less constantly.

So the 2013 Ski Industry Report has been released by Crystal this morning. In a surprise development, they are yet again reporting that they are the biggest and best ski tour operator in the UK. What a load of Arse.

Summer in the sun winter in the mountains. The Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Trust Museum at Manston, Kent, had an open day recently. This was the 72nd Anniversary Event for the Manston Spitfire TB752. A variety of attractions were on offer to help raise funds for the Museum. The Museum is really well organised with friendly staff and even had some exhibits available for visitors to handle. Browning Machine Gun fitted to Spitfires.
