A family living, laughing, loving, and hoping through childhood cancer. She was able to give all three of her kids a 2-armed hug. She had to be able to see where to get her arm, but each of the kids still got to feel both arms around them for the first time. Pretty monumental in my book.

Monday, August 17, 2009. Casey will be in second grade and Brett will be in fourth grade. It was a rough morning- it started pouring right before the bus came.
