This blog was created to keep friends and family up to date on my battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Diagnosed in February 2010, I now join the ranks of 12M Americans who are also cancer survivors. Maybe my story will help others know they are not alone. A Mother and her Two Daughters. But today is a special day, so I feel inclined to write an update. Today I celebrate my two-year CANCERVERSARY. My tumor markers came back perfect.
Wednesday, October 5, 2011. 4 months since the last update. Well life is GREAT! I could not complain one bit. I could not be MORE BLESSED! Well since the last post summer vacation, among other things. We went on vacation to Wisconsin Dells, WI, the water park capital of the world! We had a ball at an indoor water park called Kalahari! We are enjoying livin.

I worked at Special Olympics Missouri for two years as their Public Relations Intern and as their Student Outreach Coordinator. Now, I serve on their Public Relations committee and meet on a bi-monthly basis to come up with new PR and marketing strategies that will further the message of this amazing organization.
