Becoming an Adirondack 46er

A blog about my adventures in becoming an Adirondack 46er. Phelps Mountain - My 7th. Phelps Mountain is a fairly easy hike with a great reward. Hiking in from the Adirondac Loj to Marcy Dam and continuing up the Van Hoevenburg Trail to the junction offers a gradual ascent over 3. The trail from to the summit is 1 mile of steepness.
