Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Danny was in a little play at school called the Three Piggy Opera. He played the big bad wolf and he did such a great job. It is so fun to see him come out of his shell and just enjoy himself. This year we took the kids to Las Vegas for spring break. We stayed at the Riviera, and had lots of fun. We took the kids to the Hoover Dam, went into different hotels, swam at our hotel and just enjoyed spending time together as a family.

Are we taking some time each day to just be still? Put down the phones, stop texting, get off Facebook, turn the phone to silent, stay off the computer and turn the TV and radio off. Just be quiet. 30 minutes. quiet time. What do I hear? What do you hear? I have a hard time staying grounded. I am in constant reminder.CONTENT

Tuesday, December 3, 2013. I have re-worked this post to reflect what we ate while doing Keto, but what we learned from that experience. First, I learned that eating Keto is not sustainable for the long-term or with a large family. Eating Keto requires food from scratch all the time. Who has that kind of time? It is amazing to feel like I used to when food had no hold over me. I like to use low-carb wheat tortillas to make a breakfast taco.
