Sunday, November 19, 2006. We had the Wakonda Club, a green-grass-carpeted, oak-filled sprawling golf course and country club with a large, natural stone-edged swimming pool. But at age nine, up until about age 13, we were blissfully unaware of our need to develop. We were too busy riding our horses around the South Side, or bicycling up to the shopping center on Fleur Drive, or further down Fleur to the Wakonda Club pool.
