Beanniequilts

Friday, December 19, 2014. Ive returned from an unscheduled blog break to tell you about the sweet doll I made. Making a doll has been on my craft wish list for some time. Right before Thanksgiving I saw that Lisa from the wonderful blog Big Little. Sewing the doll was easier than I thought it would be. Lisa gives really good instructions for stuffing the doll too which is so important. I was very nervous to do the embroidery for the face. But again the instructions are great and I loved how. This proj.

Oh, how sweet! - Fabric, Paper Sugar

I am so excited to be a part of this showcase. Is a dear friend of mine, and I remember emailing back and forth when her book was just in the most beginning stage. What a joy it is for me to see it come to life. Jemima is such a talented and kind person, and her warmth is translated perfectly in her debut book, Weekend Quilting. Released by Fons and Porter. The abundance of approachable and fun projects made picking only one very tough! Be sure to check out each stop on the showcase! Mon 5.

Sewing, knitting, and such. This is an Oliver S hopscotch dress. In a Heather Ross knit. I made this dress one time before. And after rereading my notes and the comments I remembered how small this pattern runs. Bucket hats, take 3.

On the Oliver s blog. I became scarily obsessive about this dress. Either someone will post a version on the flickr group. Or Liesl will do a customisation on the blog.
