Tuesday, January 10, 2017. New Years in Suriname! Night before Take-off get-together. Suriname can be reached by ferry which sounds simple enough but you have to wake up before dawn and show up 5 hours before it departs to get a spot. Once you reach Suriname you flee the ferry like escaping prisoners and run across a bridge to be first in line at customs. THEN- its a 4 hour ride into Paramaribo where we stayed. Worth It. Suriname ferry holds cars and people. Outside of a really neat church. Pre Midnight.CONTENT
