This is Nina about 16 months ago when she was nearing the time where they could take out her breathing tube, after being on life support for weeks, after experiencing heart failure and a lung collapse after open heart surgery to fix a congenital heart defect we were not aware she had until she had been home with us for almost a year and a half. Unfortunately, 6 weeks later, we realized that she was rapidly losing weight and becoming frai.
