Tuesday, March 13, 2012. I hate when I have to learn things the hard way. He loves to play in the tub when I am getting ready for the day and it is perfect because I can see him in the mirror and we just laugh with each other. I will have to try to get some more. Sunday, July 5, 2015. Were the hardest days of my life and even though they were hard I can now look back and see a few tender mercies from the Lord. Finally knowing that this was our Hazel we called our families to ask them to fast and pray specifically for Amy and Hazel. I feel that this was our first tender mercy, allowing us to know that we had a baby girl. Friday, June 5, 2015.
Saturday, February 19, 2011. Things have been a bit chaotic at our house this past while. At the beginning of January, Collin hit a patch of black ice and hit the cement barrier and was left facing oncoming traffic. He left the ordeal fine but the car was totaled. We were so blessed that he was not hurt and that no other cars were involved! Out of the whole thing Collin was able to get a new car that he really likes, unfortunately he is currently unable to drive it.
Friday, March 1, 2013. There is a park close to our house that was transformed from an old elementary school to a modern park. Complete with splash pads, playground equipment, soccer fields, basketball courts etc. This new park wanted to get the community involved in the landscaping so they asked families to donate a tree. We jumped at this opportunity because we drive by this park almost everyday. Autumn had her own set of tools ready to use for the planting. For the past several years our family has go.
