Sunday, May 6, 2007. In addition to the other takers of notes that have been previously mentioned, Brian. Have also been noting rather well. The second scapegoat presentation of that day, which was entertaining and informative started with a scene from Ace Ventura. And also went into the history of the scapegoat. The first one was in the Bible and involved goats being pushed off cliffs.

Wednesday, May 02, 2007. How can we explain a musician like Neil Young, whose moment in the spot light has long since past, still being appreciated and respected by my generation, while many of his colleagues from that period go unrecognized? Why is it that ten years from now, English Professors will not be teaching A million little pieces as part of their curriculum, but the classics that have been taught for ages will remain in the curriculum? Where do we draw the line between trendy and timeless? .

Tuesday, May 1, 2007. As I was finishing up my blog site for the semester, I perused over my older posts, notes, etc. Just as we gave Ovid life by reading his poem, we give each other life by reading the posts on our sites.

All that is past possesses our present. Monday, April 30, 2007. Taking a look back to the beginning. Well here we are at the end of the semester, it all happened so fast! Well now during the last week of classes i decided to look back through a chronicle to find the past. I hate to say that i came up empty handed. I felt quite discouraged from not being able to do what i had set out to accomplish. We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring.

Tuesday, May 1, 2007. This novel is the final reading for my Restoration of 18th century British Literature class, and one sentence in particular stuck out in its similarity to a story we discussed in class. Unfortunately the blog has to be finished for our dear senex to read and review, so I will be unable to note all the presentations, however I still plan to post the remaining presentations as they are given.
