Monday, August 31, 2015. It was sad to leave the beautiful forests of Washington, but we started our journey down the coast. Our first stop for lunch was Astoria, OR. Stretching our legs and looking for a good place for lunch by the pier. Standing by a huge anchor. Looking at the bridge that goes over the Columbia River into Washington. We went first thing in the morning and had the place to ourselves. Lincoln makes a good cow.

Monday, July 21, 2014. I have to say, 7 months is one of the best stages. Miles is such a happy little guy and his personality is just sprouting. He found his toes, however, he was only excited about them for a few days and then moved on. He can sit by himself, with an occasional head bump. Does not like to be on his belly. If you lay him down he immediately rolls on his back. Loves balls and cars and to bang on anything. Loves to watch Duke, Buddy and Nermal.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. We had some sand left over from our firepit project. the rasp are starting to produce. The girls pick handfuls every day! I love to watch them interact. Sounds odd, but when we start driving around the familiar neighborhoods, there is something comforting about it. I grew up coming here several times every year and spending weeks with family and friends, making it feel like home. Michigan in the fall is BEAUTIFUL! I said. Last night we had the rehearsal dinner and it was SO MUCH FUN! .

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Last weekend we went rock climbing at momentum with my brother Chris and his date, and my cousins Ashley and Dan. It was a blast! We learned how to belay each other which I had never done before. I was surprised with how out of shape I was. Being a soccer player my arms never really get a workout.

So for my birthday my eight- year old friend, Hannah Banana gave me the funniest card, thought I would share- pretty poetic since recently I feel as though I, myself, am a princess too. Once upon a time, there was a princess who was like a size 4 or something. She could eat and drink whatever she wanted and always stayed really skinny and had flat, firm abs even though she never went to the gym. One day, she was eaten by a dragon and no one cared.
