I received great feedback after my last post, so I decided to follow up! I was so amazed by how many of you felt the same way- especially during the winter. One of my readers recommended the book, The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I ordered it on my iPad right away and got to reading. In what would have normally been a painstaking a complaint filled week, I was able to make it fun and enjoy the special time I had with my kiddos.

So as you know I made my way to New York yesterday with my roommate Danielle! We left at 1am and the bus was totally full. A gentleman moved his seat to allow Danielle and I to sit together which was so sweet! I had a pretty difficult time sleeping on the bus so when we arrived in the city at 5am we both were needing some coffee. Thank goodness for Starbucks! It was still dark when we got there!
