We just got in from the reception for the 24th annual Old Santee Canal Fine Arts Exhibition, hosted by the Berkeley Artist Guild. The exhibit was beautifully hung in the welcome center for the park. I was delighted and honored to be awarded Best in Show for Kitchen Aria. Monday, May 26, 2014. We went to the opening on Friday evening- what a crush! The exhibit.

You will see postings of my current and past work on this blog. I once did daily paintings to refine my skills for larger paintings. Beginning in Oct. , 2008 I attended the Jeff Hein Academy in Salt Lake City to refine my basic skills in drawing, value, and painting. After learning a lot, I left the academy in 2011. I returned to the academy for three months in 2015 to focus on portraiture. I am now back to doing original work in my studio. Thanks for visiting!CONTENT
