The ranch where I board my horses. Welcome to my horse blog, Desert Horses. We live in the desert southwest, near Palm Springs, CA, but board our horses up in our local mountains where it is cooler in the summer. I have 4 horses, all rescues. The life of a sweet dog. Monday, February 23, 2009. The weather was wonderful today. Storming, warm and then sunny. In a matter of minutes the lighting changed as the sun was setting.
