Even the most distant and exotic place has its parallel in ordinary life. The last destination on our southern road trip was Nashville, where we stopped on our way back north. Like Memphis and New Orleans, Nashville has a great music scene, and we were able to catch some awesome performances there.

In every effort to become a better writer, I spend a good deal of my free time writing. I have devoted a room strictly for writing and like a daily job, have a set schedule. While writing, I do not deviate from the task at hand to check social media, answer the phone, or take a break to talk to family members. How do you spend your free time? Sunday, June 12, 2011. Our ship arrived back in Singapore in the morning. With our plane not departing until the evening, we decided to take our suitcases to the airport and put them into storage. Whilst there we arranged our seating for the journey back to Sydney. Then we took a taxi back to the city, choosing to go on a river cruise that we had been unable to find on our last stop here.
