A Year in Stitches

I39;m a graduate student in Fibers at Savannah College of Art and Design. This blog is where I am documenting my life through drawing and embroidery. Originally, I made one elaborate piece each week. In full color, stretched on a canvas frame, with different embellishment techniques. To keep up with the demands of grad school, I am now doing one quick gesture drawing a day and highlighting part of each sketch with a line of stitch.
